Ernesto Herrera-Franco
I was born in Durango, Mexico, and I was raised in Juarez, Mexico just across the border from El Paso, Texas.
From 1991 to 2009, I was a business person in Juarez. I was the owner of a factory that manufactured custom entry doors. Also, I was a part-time hypnotist. Unfortunately, due to the rise of violence in Mexico, I had to emigrate to the United States.
From 2010 to 2012, I attended El Paso Community College in El Paso, Texas where I received an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Arts Psychology.
In 2012, I received my Diploma of Hypnotherapy from the American School of Hypnosis. Since then, I am a member of the American International Association of Coaching, Hypnosis, and Self-Help.
From 2012 to 2014, I attended Park University in Fort Bliss, Texas where I received my Bachelor of Arts Psychology degree along with a minor degree of Social Work.
From 2014 to 2015, I attended the New Teaching Fellows program in Fort Worth, Texas where I received my certification as a bilingual teacher. During this time, I served in the TNTP AmeriCorps Program of Education.
From 2014 to the present, I have been working as a bilingual teacher at Fort Worth Independent School District.
Currently, I am pursuing my Master of Education in Digital Learning and Leading at Lamar University.
