“Noblesse oblige” is a French phrase literally meaning “nobility obligates.” It denotes the concept that nobility extends beyond mere entitlements and requires the person who holds such status to fulfill social responsibilities, particularly in leadership roles. Likewise, educators, administrators, legislators, and parents are obligated to fulfill our children needs. The Blended Bilingual Program is a call to action. This project does not pretend to be an excellent project in black and white to impressed or amaze you. But, I don’t want you to be impressed! I don’t want you to be amazed! I want you (educator, administrator, legislator, parent) to take action, to do the best you can with what you have now for the sake of our children because noblesse oblige.
